Elizabeth Dunham,a Fellow with SpiritRidge Institute for five years, holds a master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science from the Leadership Institute of Seattle/Bastyr University. She is also a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist. Elizabeth has been in private practice for 26 years and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Washington Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
Over the years Elizabeth has continued to refine and develop her expertise, incorporating the work of major contributors to the mental health field, particularly in the areas of relationships and the therapeutic applications of neuroscience research. She is currently in her third year of a three year certificate program in Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB) with Daniel Siegel, MD, clinical professor of psychiatry at the UCLA School of Medicine and author of many books including Mindsight, The Mindful Brain, and The Whole Brain Child.
Prior to her mental health career, Elizabeth was a storyteller, presenting to such diverse audiences as the Jung Institutes of Zurich and Chicago, the University of Massachusetts under a NEH grant, and Storytellers in Concert in Cambridge, Massachusetts — a series that she also cofounded and coproduced for five years
